Former top QB recruit Willy Korn didn't workout as a QB due to a shoulder injury that led him to transfer to Marshall then North Greenville. That was a blessing for him since he linked up with Jamey Chadwell at North Greenville.

As QB Coach/Co-OC at Liberty, Korn the 9th ranked team in the country in points per game, and 4th in total yards per game.

in 2022, at Coastal Carolina, the team's offensive performance dipped, but in 2021, with Korn as QB Coach/Co-OC, Coastal ranked 4th in the country in points per game and 5th in points per game.

If Lincoln Riley does move on, Korn might be a good candidate if he keeps up the offensive output at Liberty.

If clemson is smart they will keep Garrett Riley around. Maybe even give him the "head coach in waiting" title. If there is any guy who can navigate the NIL waters as a head coach I believe it's him. But yeah it wouldn't surprise me if Korn came back

The old term flash in pan could be applicable. I will wait and see how things go at Clemson for a couple of years.

Matt Luke may be a better candidate over Riley. Either would be at the top of my list.

Given his star crossed time at Clemson, does Willy Korn really still hold Clemson that near and dear to his heart that he would even WANT to come back as a coach? Now, he probably would for the right $$$, but there is something to be said for really WANTING to be someplace, instead of just taking the money like Bimbo Fisher did at Tejas A&M, for instance.
