Money is not talking -- it is shouting!
Others who are also paying big bucks will be unhappy they are not in the mix.

There is always surprises and they have to stay healthy. OCryO state hasn't really played anyone with a pulse yet. Texas better hope Ewers and uga better hope Beck stays injury free.

Week 2 will look very different in week 8...on any given Saturday any good team can beat any other good team...Clemson with momentum will be very difficult down the road...keep the faith!

Georgia and Texas look for real. Not sold yet on OSU. Day always finds a way to screw it up...

If we beat NCS, FSU and Louisville, I like our chances to get to the ACC Championship game and get a shot at the playoffs. Of those three, Louisville would worry me the most.
Once in the playoffs, anything can happen. If we make it that far, I'd prefer not to have to face Texas or Georgia in the 2nd round.

...but if recent history tells us anything it's that the top 3 teams in September are rarely the best 3 teams in November. The media is pushing that particular narrative, but I'm not buying it.
I'm going to sit back, do my own thinking and see how things play out.

The fact is, Georgia plays Bama, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Texas so they have a hard row to hoe. Texas plays a much easier schedule other than playing Georgia and who knows about Ohio State? The good news is the conference champions are in, so that is what we shooting for and don't worry about anyone else.

I think Jawja and Texas are by far the two best teams in CFB right now. And no, nobody's catching them this year.

You could very well be correct. And I know that I am biased. I know Ohio State hasn’t played anyone. But things look different this year. With the threat of qb run, 2 really good backs, and a whole stable of receivers, the offense looks hard to defend. The defense looks really good too. And they are playing with an edge. The biggest question mark is the offensive line. Texas looks really good. I don’t think Michigan was a good barometer of how good Texas is. Michigan is a shell of their former selves. Too many players and coaches gone. Plus, and this could be the biggest reason, no more Stalions. Georgia looks like THE team to beat right now.

that have little to do with talent; the outcome may not produce the best team.

EVERYONE is playing for Top 12. That is the nature of the new CFP.
It remains to be seen who will be playing their best football come December.

Keep an eye on SoCal
Yeah , yeah I know
This years team is playing defense. That's always been the rub. Folks also believed losing Williams would set them back.
So far their QB looks solid
If the defense continues playing well they just might turn the corner
