To you Clemson baseball or basketball?

For me it’s baseball because of our history of being a historic program.

College baseball is frustrating, so I don't pay

as much attention.

You want to sign as good of players as you can, but not too good because they will be drafted.
So in reality, a baseball team is trying to be the best of the mediocre.

It isn't like that in other college sports,...well maybe soccer.

Yep, MLB being allowed to draft these "kids" out of HS just doesn't seem right, and I absolutely hate that rule of drafting kids right out of HS, it needs to be stopped yesterday!!!!

I actually like the MLB rule. If the kid decides on college he has to wait 3 years before he can be drafted.

Much better than the NBA rule.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

I like that, too. By then, 3 years after HS, most have reached a much better stage of maturity in their lives, and most of , if not all, are well on their way to graduating with a degree that will be worth so much as they go through life. IMO.

I've been a fan of baseball a whole lot longer than basketball, but I would like for us to be really good at both!!!

I enjoy Tiger Basketball more than college baseball. Maybe because I get my baseball thrills from watching the Braves. Obviously I love seeing all Tiger teams succeed and this year was great for the baseball and softball teams.

Still I enjoy and follow more closely the Tiger Basketball team. Do I wish they were more successful, yes but I don’t enjoy engaging in the “this coach vs some other alternative” arguments. I support Coach Brownell and his staff and wish the Tigers well!

To me, it’s not life and death (like football). I really enjoy seeing stories like PJ Hall and Hunter Tyson play our.

Go Tigers!

seen by number of post season appearances, and advancing past the first round of post season. That being said, I USED to love to watch college basketball, when there was talent all over the place, and the ACC was the undisputed best conference around.

Unfortunately, those euphoric ACC basketball days are behind us now. The overall talent level in the conference is down, and the brand of hoops being played is not nearly as exciting.

If ever there was a time that Clemson SHOULD have been able to win the ACC, it was these last couple of years. Keller Mountaineers Cobbox would have us believe that we are just one rose petal short of being a beautiful flower. Butt, the reality is, with Brad Brownell we are always going to be just a background sprig in the flower arrangement. HISTORY says that, not me. And, as long as it does, then I, and a lot of other fans, cannot let basketball become that important to us. Because, we always wind up like Charlie Brown just after Lucy has yanked the ball away yet again. Arghhh, I can't stand it.
