By the 4th qtr, they were suckin' wind, layin' down, lookin' for a TO wherever they could get it. The Clemson Tigers out-physicalled a top SEC team tonight. ESPN..put that in your pipe and smoke it@#!

But the truth. Both sides took 'hits' but LSU defense was missing in action at end of game. I never would have thought that to happen. After a full season my opinion was that they were a top 5 defense. Great TIGER win.

We snapped it 105 times on y'all. No wonder.
It was our defense that made that possible. Our D whipped y'all's #### except for two easy scoring plays.

I wouldn't characterize it as beating them physically.

We definately had them out-conditioned. The pace cwertainly got to them. But Tigerdroppings claims that all their players were falling like flies to stop the clock.

There is no speculation. They wanted a break from being run ragged the entire game.

We dominated them statistcially. That didn't happen because we had bigger and tougher players. We beat the hail out of them in every area except special teams.

LSU's offense had 9 3 and outs and it had nothing to do with our defense... lol

I disagree. LSU's defense was very physical.
LSU's offense sucked. Since LSU's offense kept going 3 and out, it kept LSU's defense on the field.
Clemson's offense ran enough plays that it was almost like LSU's defense played 2 entire games.
It's no wonder they were tired at the end... they are human.
If LSU's offense was half-way decent, their defense would have been fresh the whole game.

Last time I checked people were telling us about how "big" and "physical" the LSU players on BOTH sides of the ball were, especially the linemen and backs.
We were told that LSU's big, strong linemen would push our defense around and that their backs would run our linebackers over.
Instead our defense was in the backfield all night, on both rushing and passing plays. Our defensive line fired off the ball, took control of the gaps, and hustled to the ball carrier. Fundamentals!
Don't try to blame your offense that you were just boosting up a few days ago. Take the loss like a man. Your team should have made you proud too. They played a heck of a game, and should be rewarded by their fans, rather than used as a scapegoat.
I'm glad I'm a Clemson Tiger, whether Chandler made the field goal or not. Our boys played with heart and tenacity, showing a bravery that is often little seen these days. If I were on the other side today I would be disappointed that we didn't win the game, but I wouldn't be selling out my offense to save face for my defense. I wouldn't be you.
