Where would you rank Klubnik amongst CFB Playoff QBs?

Just curious, where would Klubnik rank in your mind in the list of CFB Playoff QBs? Let's pretend that Mafah/Haynes are reasonably healthy and there's some semblance of a running game.
I feel like he's probably #3 in my mind behind Gabriel and then maybe Indiana's Kurtis Rourke, but it's close. In my opinion, Gabriel is clearly #1 and then there's a lot of depth and talent behind that, so I could hear an argument for just about any of these QBs falling anywere from 2-12 on the list. I don't think there's an elite NFL QB in this crop (right now) although Allar will be highly regarded come draft season and I think Nico Iamaleava develops into a great player--there doesn't appear to be a Burrow or Lawrence who can just put the team on their back and go win a game on his own.

I don’t think Gabriel is clearly number 1. If fact, if you look at Cade’s stats they are almost identical, if not slightly better. But, #3 is probably a pretty good assessment.

8.8 vs 7.5. To me that's usually the most telling stat for QB success. Cade does have a slightly higher TD/INT ratio though.

That's a pretty good indicator too. I honestly don't think this list based on efficiency is too crazy either.
1. Rourke 2. Howard 3. Gabriel 4. Allar 5. Leavitt 6. Jennings 7. Iamaleava 8. Klubnik 9. Ewers 10. Madsen 11. Leonard
Not counting Beck and Stockton because Beck is probably one of the better QBs but last I saw he probably is out for a few weeks at least.

It's really hard to judge where a QB ranks bc of the difference in OLs and the quality of receivers and how many that a team has, IMO!!!

Amoungst the CFB Playoff QB’s? He’s FIRST.
Football games are won by scoring POINTS and by stopping the other team from scoring points.
Cade doesn’t play defense, so his opportunity to stop anyone from scoring point is zero, although indirectly he can stop the other team from scoring by staying on the field for as long as possible.
So Cades job is to SCORE POINTS.
Cade is 5th in the country in how many points he scores per game.
Amongst ALL PLAYERS, playing in the CFB Playoffs, Cade scores more points than anyone.
Being efficient won’t win a game, throwing for yards won’t win a game, throwing completions won’t win a game, running for yards won’t win a game.
Scoring points wins games. Cade has done that better than any other player playing in the playoffs.

I like Cade, but quality of the opposing team has a bit to do with scoring points. Citadel and App State tend to skew the numbers...

I think it is really hard to gage. We played mostly cupcakes all season so I don't think stats tell the story accurately.

Especially Oregon...outside of OSU & maybe Boise State, they did not have a hard schedule, actually very light compared to most. No Georgia, no South Carolina, no SMU....but yes we played some creampuffs in NCSU/Citadel/App State

Probably, but it's close. Michigan is a very weird team. At their best, they'd beat South Carolina. But they're bipolar. Ohio State is better than UGA. I think Louisville is better than anyone else on their schedule, but the rest of both of our schedules are cupcakes.

This is delulu.
Ohio State would beat Georgia. Penn State would beat SMU. Boise State would beat South Carolina. Illinois would beat Louisville.
I think I could go on. Oregon played a very tough schedule. Their opponents had an overall record of 90-67, which is the best of any of the playoff teams, and 11 of those losses are from Purdue. Our opponents record were a combined 80-76, and we lost to 3 of the 4 teams with a winning record. Gabriel also shredded the competition in every game.
I think we could potentially beat them if we put it all together for 4 full quarters. But to act like Oregon hasn't been incredibly impressive this year, going undefeated and blowing out their opponents against the hardest schedule in the country (by opponent record), is just crazy.

Absolutely terrible rating. Rourke is too low by any standard. And having Leonard at 9 is insane considering how devastating he is with his feet.

I would rate Cade 6-8. Still can’t get over him giving the game to the coots on the last play of the game🤦♂️

He also stole the game away from Pitt at the very end. Without that Pitt win, we’re not in the playoffs

Honestly, it's almost impossible to make that kind of assessment, because the competition is so different, offensive lines and receivers are so different, and QBs are asked to do such different things. How do you compare Cade, who does incredibly well statistically (albeit against very weak competition), against Dillon Gabriel, who has very slightly worse stats against much better competition, or Riley Leonard, who's at his heart a scrambler and is the best at that in the country?
If I had to rank them, I would probably put Cade around 4th. Dillon Gabriel seems pretty clearly the best QB in the playoffs. He is just so incredibly accurate (73% completions vs Cade's 63%). He's also a threat on the ground and doesn't make mistakes. As you said, Kurtis Rourke is the same way. He is the definition of efficiency, only 4 picks and has the second highest QB to pass attempt percentage in the country. Riley Leonard is my #3. I genuinely just think he's so smart, the smartest QB in college football, and can just make magic happen. When you combine his passing and rushing TDs, he's #6 in the country, and that's playing alongside the best running back duo in football.
But I do think it's splitting hairs from about 3-9. Drew Allar is asked to be a game manager, and he's great at it. Carson Beck and Quinn Ewers are both incredibly talented passers (Quinn makes some of the prettiest throws I've seen in years) but are too confident in their abilities and so make very risky throws too. Iamaleava might have the highest ceiling of anyone, but I don't think he's quite there yet. And Will Howard is impossible to rate because he plays with the best receivers in the game.

1. Gabriel (been winning at three schools...sixth yr senior, I think) 2. Klubnik (Great player, head-scratching plays sometimes) 3. Jennings (play maker!) 4. Ewers (Good thrower...not a mover) 5. Leonard (Good leader and runner) 6. Iamaleava (High upside future...) 7. Allar (what big game has he won?) 8. Roake (lost to their only competition) 9. Howard (reason they lost to Oregon..) 10. Leavitt (not sure...) 11. Madsen (they win cause of the RB) 12. UGA Freshman (Beck would be #3)
