In the past when we have been the fair has been in town and we parked at Cardinal Gibbons High School. I believe RV parking will be available at the fairgrounds this time. Both are within walking distance

Just to the southeast of Carter-Finley Stadium is the North Carolina State Fairgrounds. This is where all visiting fans, and Wolfpack fans, who do not have a season parking pass should head to park their RV. Call ahead, (919) 821-7400, or visit NORTH CAROLINA STATE FAIRGROUNDS for more information.
Fairgrounds Reservations & Fees
Location: 1025 Blue Ridge Road, Raleigh, NC 27607
Sites are first come, first serve.
Rental cost for a 24-hour period: $25 per unit.
Trailer Dump Stations: Service included with rental. $10 fee without rental.
No advance reservations taken. Reserve spot on day of arrival only.
Check in upon arrival by calling (919) 612-6767.
For large clubs or groups make advanced reservations by contacting the Fairgrounds at (919) 839-4501 prior to arrival.
***Please note: Limited camping access is available during the month of October and certain event weekends. Call to inquire about availability. (919) 839-4501.

Their bus parking area is a nearby catholic school (that will be in session that Thursday).

phone number but it looks like 25 bucks gets you an overnight stay , so with my self contained ACE , I might be ready to roll....go tigers ..
