I'm not sure I can get out there, but I do believe Bakich and the boys have what it takes to get back. If we get to host a super regional, I think we're in.

April 22 for single games. Ticket books are sold out and they haven't opened the waitlist in awhile. There is some tix already on resellers but the Ticketmaster exchange will open on April 23.

We drove it back as a teenager. My buddy worked in the Tennessee ticket office while he was in school and got us free tickets. It’s a long freaking drive. You can fall asleep in St.Louis , just keep the wheel straight , and 6 hours later end up in Kansas City. Southern Illinois and Iowa are beautiful with never ending corn fields and some of the biggest harvesters you’ll ever see . Had a blast out there though, everyone should go if they are college baseball fans. Haven’t seen the new stadium, but you could definitely feel the tradition in the old stadium.

If you do go, stay in Iowa. Cheaper hotel prices and a short drive. The whole town will be in CWS mode and everyone is looking to cash in for the 2 weeks .

Why jinx…if we do go luckily I got free place to stay at wife’s cousins house who is stationed out there. Also he goes a lot and gets discounted military tix

I honestly remember driving for hours to get to A restaurant. Not restaurants. A restaurant! So much corn. So much.
