I hope the doomsdayers will be content with us using the portal and getting 7 or 8 wins per season. Many people don’t appreciate what they’ve got till it’s gone.

Maybe when dabo leaves we can get a coach that knows the importance of beating the coots. Losing 2 of the last 3 is a HUGE failure on dabos part!

With our coaching budget now, those days are behind us. Clemson would go after a proven winner. The thought that the great Dabo Swinney is the only coach that can win at Clemson should cost all of you their fan status. You are part of tbe reason that this man is being out above the university itself. That's why he isn't held accountable for anything!

wind up running Dabo off then get ready for a return to Clemson's non-Ford / non-Dabo type of above average mediocrity that 6 of the last 8 coaches delivered, until we cycle through enough replacements through the years until we get that right fit again. However many players we portal in really won't matter because at the end of the day it's about having the right coach that can make it work here, and history has shown us that those are few and far between.

mistakes. I believe transfers, opt outs, and (the current implementation of) NIL are killing college football and there's nothing I'd like to see more than for Dabo to make Clemson a champion against the odds.
But he's not going to do that with friends and family position coaches and no accountability. That doesn't win championships.
