When a society thinks death before birth (Abortion) is ok..

then that society may be considered a sick one especially since healthy logic would have the unborn having legal representation, aka rights, as does the Birther.
Did you see what I did there.

Will take your feigned outrage seriously when you demand legal representation for the millions of unborn "murdered" at IVF clinics.

talk about faux outrage...this argument doesn't even make sense. IVF is attempting to create life not kill it.
So you are suggesting a fertilized egg not in a human body be treated as a fetus? You are something special.
What are the procedures infertility doctors/clinics currently work under? How do you suggest they change?
You have made up a problem with no proof it exists.
Maybe IVF clinics should let planned parenthood park their vacuum van outside and suck out millions of baby humans.

Many people believe all fertilized eggs (i.e., human beings from the moment of conception) should be protected by law.

The Pro Life movement defines life begins at the moment of conception, yet they are SILENT on the millions of conceived "babies" "murdered" each year. Why is that? I'll wait.

Abortion appears to be a very personal thing to most people. For those with spiritual beliefs, it is a noxious event completely contrary to their beliefs. In spite of the fact that most abortions have zero impact on their lives, they fight tooth and nail to prevent "other people" from getting them.
Then there are those that believe that women, since the fetus is in their bodies, should be able to decide for themselves what their beliefs are and believe the constitution guarantees them 'bodily autonomy.
In my view, the government is just people. I don't think those people have any business telling women what they should do with their own bodies. I personally believe that abortion is morally wrong. But it's not my life or my body that's at play here. It should be a women's choice.
I found it very interesting that a bill to guarantee access to contraceptives was voted against by most Republicans in the house and senate. That seemed counter-productive for those opposed to abortion.
A 10 yr. old girl was raped in Indiana and got pregnant. In Indiana, there is no exception to abortion in cases of rape and incest. The girl was taken to another state for an abortion. Republican-dominated Indiana would force that child to carry the fetus to term, regardless to the effects on her emotionally and physically. In other words, Indiana Republicans want to force their spiritual views on others, even if it harms the mother.
I can find no perspective that makes sense to me in these cases. Govt. is just people, and those people need to reexamine how far a govt. can intercede in citizens' lives. I think that adultery is morally wrong. Will they make that illegal as well? Same-sex marriage? Interracial marriage? How much power are we willing to give over to these govt. people.

You noticed that too AFDAWG? The unborn child was not mentioned because aborting a child is the most selfish act people can do. I say people because often the woman is not alone in the selfishness. Often a man “not ready” to be a father is a driving force behind the abortion also. When pro abortion folks argue their position it’s always about “me” and never the human life they are willing to destroy.

Yeah, he failed to follow-up on why it's a "noxious event."

For starters, from what I understand, the girl was taken TO Indiana FROM Ohio, althgough I question why when the Ohio Attorney General stated that there was no reason for her to leave the state.
