Whats wrong with the NFL Playoffs

The New Orleans Saints got screwed this year. The NFL clearly had it out for them. It’s not fair that they had the same record as the Tampa Bay buccaneers and didn’t make the playoffs. They even scored more points than Tampa Bay this year. They even beat Tampa Bay two weeks ago on New Years.
I think the Attorney General in Louisiana should sue the NFC south. And if that doesn’t work, they should think about paying a buyout fee and moving to the AFC West, where they can make the same amount of money, but be treated fairly.
If I was a Saints player, I would sit out the 2024 preseason games, ….. why play and get hurt when a game doesn’t mean anything. And that would really be sticking it to the NFL.
Or maybe the NFL should move to a playoff committee format and let the committee select playoff teams in an entirely subjective process. Yeah, how about that?

They did not get screwed. They lost all the tie breakers. Claiming an NFL conspiracy is asinine. Even if the lowly Saints made the playoffs they wouldn’t have made it out of the wild card without a miracle. No elite Qb. Holes in the defense. Lack of an elite receiver. Sure, they have some good receivers but every team does. Not many have Hill or Brown caliber receivers. Face it, post Payton Saints are kinda toothless.

Ignorance of the clearly defined tiebreaker rules is no defense. Feel free to educate yourself, link provided. I see that you selectively left out that the Saints lost to the Bucs earlier this season.

The New Orleans Saints didn't get screwed. They knew the objective criteria the league uses to get into the playoffs and the Saints fell short of it
On the other hand, Florida State DID get screwed bc the system that left them out bypassed all their objective accomplishments and relied on their subjective opinions to make their decision which is wrong and can never be consistent
