Make sure it has at least started to season dry and doesn't have smoker woods mixed in.(No poplar or elm)

Check facebook marketplace. I’m not a big fan of facebook but marketplace is perfect for these kind of purchases. Are you able to get it yourself? I see quite a few folks offering wood from the hurricane for free if you can come get it. It is not yet seasoned but is great for outdoor fire pits. If you are using it for home heating it is still too green.
