arguably one of the greatest two or three comedies of all time.
"Not to worry, you are all equal in my eye." (He only HAD one eye.)
"Froggy, Froggy, WHERE'S MY FROGGY? Ribbit, ribbit, ribbit."
"Hello, Shewiff. Why don't you...loosen your bullets?"
"Tell me, Schottzie. Is it twue what they say about the way you people are....gifted? Oh, it's TWUE, it's TWUE, it's TWUE, it's TWUE."
"Please, you are making a German SPECTACLE of yourself."
I could probably quote that whole movie, start to finish, I have watched it so many times. It's just like Young Frankenstein, every time you watch, you pick up some sight gag that you missed the first twenty times.

Unforgiven. It's a cinematic masterpiece on the nature of man. It is the classic antihero movie, where the most dangerous, callous, borderline psychopath is treated as the beloved hero while the characters who are intended to uphold either the law or a moral code are vilified.
The character that Clint Eastwood portrays is striking in his transformation from a unassuming, broken down, soft wuss into the mad dog killer that actually lives within.
Dances With Wolves is probably second.

Hell or High Water watches to me like and old western in the “present day” of the recession 15 yrs ago
It’s a slow build, but it’s excellent and it delivers. Very underrated film imo..

Josey Wales is at the top for sure. Any Eastwood western would make the top-10. Except for maybe Paint Your Wagon.
1. The Outlaw Josey Wales 2. True Grit (John Wayne as Rooster Cogburn) 3. The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford 4. Jerimiah Johnson 5. Big Hand for a Little Lady (clever movie, classic performances and funny)

- True Grit (I prefer the 2010 remake to the original; so sue me) - 3:10 to Yuma (Yes, I prefer the 2007 remake) - Unforgiven - Tombstone (I need to rewatch) - Young Guns (Yeah, I said it)
Oh, and Firefly (TV series - Western set in space and on other worlds)

Can’t argue with Outlaw Jose Wales. Tombstone. My favorite is Silverado with Scott Glenn, Kevin Costner, Danny Glover, Kevin Kline, Brian Dennehy.
My favorite comedy western is The Cherokee Kid starring Sinbad.
