Penn St is a lot better than the coots. That would be no cakewalk, especially in a white out game in Happy Valley. It would be a fun one to go though.

Not sure about “a lot better”. I live in PA and watched a few of their games. They would have home field advantage for sure. But, they struggled on road against USC and Minnesota. Bowling Green gave them scare early in year at home. Their schedule aside from Ohio State was not all that difficult. Don’t see them beating Oregon. They do have pair of good backs. But they have been inconsistent this year. Also an all world TE in Warren. QB decent Other than that. Not much.

Their D is still pretty solid as always. They had a little let down against MN, and Bowling Green put up some points early in the season after they pulled their starters. USC played a good game against them but they do have a good offense. Otherwise they were solid. OSU only got 20 on them.

Oregon will be a handful and should pull away as the game wears on.

I will add this too… PSU has unlimited resources. They recruit elite talent. They have inherent advantage with conference they play in. Issue is James Franklin is often criticized for not beating Michigan or Ohio State. That is the litmus test for that program. This may be unpopular on here, but I think Dabo does more with less.

He used to. The debate now is can he keep it up without catching up to the changes others are making to be more competitive.
