Charlotte and Marshall. They usually play another power non con game other than GT. I've always given them credit for being one of the few SEC teams that schedule 2 power non con opponents.

All SEC teams play cupcake out of conference teams. That is why they have good won-loss records and have a reason to be ranked.

Correct and then when they lose to each other it doesn't matter and they can just flop numbers.

Yes, but they don't all play ONLY cupcakes out of conference. UGA typically has a stronger schedule. 2025 is an anomaly, as the OP stated.

Yep. Since 2016 (Kirby era), aside from P4 GaTech, UGA has played UNC, Notre Dame x2, Clemson x2, and Oregon. We are 6-0 in those games. We've had games cancelled with P4 Oklahoma and UCLA. We have P4 home and home series with Louisville, FSU, Ohio St, and NC St, plus 4 more games with you guys (2029, 30, 32 & 33) currently scheduled over the next 8~9 years.

We shouldn't question the esecpn conference scheduling. They beat each other up soooo bad, they have to schedule some softies so they can make it into the CFP. It's esecpn's recipe for success. Heck, we really need to up the playoff to 16 teams to accommodate more of them.🙄

As long as they don't whine and cry like Ole Miss and Lane last year for not making the playoff after they played 4 cupcakes non con.

When you have Tennessee, Auburn, Ole Miss, Alabama and Texas on your schedule, it makes absolute sense to play 3 cupcakes.

We were scheduled to play at UCLA this year (in Aug), with the return game in Athens next year. UCLA cancelled when they joined the Big 10.

Well, like I said, we are 6-0 in those P4 games we have played. So it doesn't really matter who we schedule - we get the Ws regardless.
