Sad to hear of upperclassmen barely even getting 2 or 3 football games. Wonder how many student seats changed to big donor seats for nil money. And now for the first time ever, no general admission parking on Clemson Universities 1,400 acres unless you donate $500 or more for parking per year. No general admission parking for season ticket holders that donate $499 or less a year. Per Clemson University no lot on their campus is General Admission: no lot for away team visitors (that’s being a good host), none for parents visiting college kids but now they discreetly updated website and parents can contact transportation office on Friday for a pass to somewhere, no parking for season ticket holders that are Iptay for $499 or less and no university lot for the average Joe just going to a game wiling to pay $30 or $40 for four hours to park with your family for an event on their campus. A sad sign of the times and the reason the season tickets will not be renewed Mr Neff.

The stadium has stayed the same size for decades, and the parking only gets worse..... Same for students, they end up staying in Central, Seneca, and riding a bus, like an Urban Campus? They put buildings where parking lots used to be, and still keep expanding the student body?

If there’s pressure to scrounge up resources to pay players, that onus will be passed through to the organization’s potential revenue streams, one of which is parking revenue.
Huge NIL-shaped liability items have suddenly appeared out of nowhere on the balance sheets of top-tier universities, which means assets must be procured accordingly.

Private NIL collectives don't own campus property.
This sounds like placing blame on people that didn't do it.

It’s just as well the university is raising more money because very shortly the schools will be directly paying the players in addition to NIL.

The immediate cost impact is going to be the $2 mil or so annual cost for our share if the House case settlement.
Parking has always been an issue, given DV's proximity to the lake.
Maybe it's time we emulate Washington and Tennessee with some boat docks and shuttles to the stadium.
Boat tailgates ROCK!

It certainly used to be a "private good ole boy system", but in the last 10 years or so, I see very little of that. It's all driven by money now, and there are a lot of people willing and able to pay big bucks every year for their tickets and parking. This big money has really affected the long time donors and less wealthy donors.
Parking gets worse every year because the University and AD continue to build up every empty corner of the University. We're about to lose even more very high level spots with the Littlejohn practice facility renovation. Be prepared to be pushed even farther out as the big donors are forced to move somewhere.
The good news is, there is FINALLY a parking garage coming to campus. Tailgating in the garage will be allowed from what I hear, but obviously that's not the best place to tailgate. It will be great for people who don't care about tailgating, or just park and go meet up with friends at other tailgates. The bad news is, we'll lose an entire lot next year while they build it, so be ready for so big struggles with parking next year.

That is just dumb. If you have ever been to Clemson in years past, ride or walk around now and growth of the University is what has affected parking. NIL has nothing to do with parking.

There are still approximately 9,000 student tickets, just as there were in the 80's when the upper decks were added. That was usually plenty for the 13,000 students we had then. Enrollment has nearly doubled since then, and most of the current students bring cars. Nothing has been taken away from students, there are just considerably more people competing for the same resources.

Sounds like Clemson shouldn't be doubling its student body and lowering its admissions standards. It's supposed to be a school. Letting in everyone for tuition dollars is a joke.

Remember this: The board and those who control game wkends for the university don’t give shitz about anybody unless they have money. It’s a sad situation that my university that I love don’t care about anybody. Show me the money so you can park. Have bought season tickets since 1970. That’s it no more
