Wouldn't it be cool to see the Tigers come running down the hill in the ALL Purple uniforms to recognize 9/11.

What does purple have to do with 9/11? We save that for military appreciation (which appreciates those who fought and sacrificed their life in response to 9/11).

I know it is saved for military appreciation day.
Isn't that what Saturday is supposed to be about.
Honoring the men and women who lost and sacrificed their life that tragic day.

I understand where your heart is, but no Saturday is not about remembering or honoring the military. It is about civilians and first responder who lost their lives, their families, and the survivors. It is about the unity of a country, the tens of thousands of volunteers, and the consequences of the day.

There's also no war, but we still honor the military. Remembering the unity that 9/11 created, the response and cohesiveness of the country, is what I'm referring to.

Agreed. Probably should have made Military Appreciation Day a part of this game with the 20th anniv of 9-11 too IMO.

They will wear all purple for the UConn game since it's Military Appreciation Day. Tomorrow is not that day nor is it a Championship game so Clemson will 100 percent be wearing Orange Jerseys/White Pants. Maybe a patch or helmet sticker commemorating 9/11 though.
