I was pleased to remind myself today that he is a junior. Hopefully he will stay but these Portal days who knows

On the interviews he has done he seems to like the school, coaches, teammates, and area a lot. Fond of the outdoors also.
Think the plan the staff has told him can become a draft pick like Hunter Tyson after he is done in two years.

Oh yeah not to insinuate otherwise but these days you just never know. Why should Godfrey have left for a year? That still annoys me.

A case in point we only had 2 players return w pt from last years roster. Now I will say portal and NIL seem to have helped Brad but people sticking around in hoops is becoming a rarity.

We'll see how this ages but Jake Whallin has the physical tools and skill to potentially be an NBA player. He doesn't out up gaudy numbers but the team has been unselfish and proven so deep and balanced against lesser competition so far that he has done most of his damage in under 20 mins of play.

Also, it's early, but it looks like Ace Buckner is an obvious NBA talent as well. I can't remember the last time a freshman had this sort of impact early on, at least scoring wise and especially under Brownell. I'm thinking back trying to compare, Tony Stockman and Oggelsby were a couple that score but weren't as dynamic either.
