Hadn’t watched any replays yet, but to my recollection Walker Parks didn’t play much, if at all, after 1st Qtr.
Again, to my recollection, Sadler (replaced Tate) and Sewell (replaced Parks) played the most snaps among the G rotation.
Against App State, both looked like All Americans. I hope that both are up to playing high level FB if needed against NC State.

Yes, I think they have improved. However, I would like to see a larger sample size regarding run blocking. I dont mean this to come off negative, but outside of Mafah’s huge run, he had 8 or 9 more carries yielding about 35 yards. I wonder how 5-6 3rd quarter carries would have panned out. I also wonder about the production of our #2 and #3 RBs.

Brown probably gets the start over Moore, as long as his ankle is healed. I also think Troy, as much as people dog on him, is one of the better receivers on this squad, but there is something off with him and Cade. Troy is usually open, and was last season too. Even so much so there was a thread someone created wondering if Cade has a personal problem with Troy since he never throws him the ball.
Maybe Cade doesn't trust him to catch it--certainly a real fear after the last few seasons.

We have tended to ignore the fact that Phil Mafah had a 77 yard run in the game, over 100 yards rushing after one quarter of play.

I think we may still see Bentancur before long
He was as highly regarded at TE as TJ Moore and BW at wideout Patt-Henry had a huge block that spurred Mafah on his his TD jaunt.
Sapp also had a moment
Briny was huge all day
Overall our TE'S had their best day
I'm as excited for this group also.
Just be consistent now. That's all I ask

Yes, the 3 Amigos along with Jake at TE could provide some excitement that has been missing from the offense. OL protecting Cade and allowing him to find the open man or throw them open which is something he needs to do more often.

This is what I don’t understand. These are the same players we’ve had since the spring of this year. They must have gotten snaps during this time. Why would the coaching staff hold them out of the GA game and let them shine against App State. Not an expert just a fan.

Sure is nice to have a debate regarding which receivers need to start. Seems like the last three years it was more about who is healthy enough to even play.
Wesco, Moore, and Williams look significantly better than the rest imo. Wesco and Moore run by people with little effort. Smooth athletes and they both ###### the ball. Williams is very good as well.
Stellato is a valuable possession receiver but the room is getting crowded. Good problem to have.

Considering UGA is a veteran defense, along with being one of the best defenses in the country, it is an easy decision to put your veterans against theirs, especially in the first game of the season basically on the road. However, I think after Randall made his mistakes and we had drops, you gotta let the young guys try and prove themselves when the veterans aren't cutting it. Hence, the reason Wesco got the start over Randall on Saturday. To me, this was improvement in coaching over the past years with better guys sitting on the bench for multiple games while the veterans struggle. After one game, the staff decided to put the best guys on the field.

The split with Jake outside made a huge diff...his speed, long strides and reach makes him a load...BC needs to develop...all our WRs held on and ran some great routes...might want to use PMs left handed pass with the stool in the future...what a nightmare for a DB! Great kids will still want to come to CCC..kids who will work hard and want to be at Clemson are worth more than all the stars 247 can pin on them...Dabo knows!

We have a whole host...nobody dropped a ball they should have caught...good news...we have cats that can fly...anywhere you stack the stool he going to be a handful.. take one heck of a DB to cover him one on one...Cade throws a beautiful deep ball at least four of our cats can outrun it! I hope we get to play jawja again in the playoffs..we can still make the puppy whimper!
