The Miami offense relies on the defense creating turnovers. If we take care of the football and control field position they will have trouble putting drives together and wont score more than 13 on us. If KB can connect on his deep balls like he did earlier in the season then the game will get ugly quick.

He doesn't need to connect on the deep balls. He needs ball security, be accurate on the short and medium range throws and let the RBs and WRs get the yards. All this junk about the deep ball the deep ball. It's not all on him. The line has to block and receivers need to make the catches.

Miami wins the next two games and comes into the ACCCG 12-0 which is good for us. Then, rat poison. The media build up to that game will drive Richt crazy as he watches his team get big heads and lose focus. Dabo will keep the windshield mentality focus on the team that has been here before and Clemson wins in Charlotte. 12-1 on a rebuilding year and playoff bound.

Bottom line......
3rd down conversions. Clemson ranked 17th, Miami ranked 125th
3rd down conversions defense. Clemson ranked 9th, Miami ranked 58th
Take care of the ball, play defense, and move the chains. We will be healthier in the championship game than we have been in a while.
Gonna just say I think the Citadel game will be nothing more than a glorified scrimmage, getting people healthy.

Moving the chains. Always the most important thing. Especially against a team like Miami. Avoid the turnovers ,especially those that permit quick scores, and the good guys win going away. I think it's important that the kickers have their best game also.KB will have to throw the long ball but it's not vital that we score that way . IF you can rush the ball for four yards every play you cannot lose!
