I may have been wrong about them, because they whoopedthatass tonight. Of course, LSU is probably over rated as well, getting that SEC boost from talking heads and voters. Not a Noles fan at all, but Love seeing Brian Kelly take a beatdown.

They are more than slightly better. They added a lot more talent and depth.

Yes. That wideout from Mich st is a nightmare.
I don't usually like to be a negative nelly, but i am having a hard time seeing us beat them. At least this first go round. Maybe by the acccg our O will be rounded into championship form. Idk. Tonight will either make us feel a lot better about it or a lot worse.

And Clemson must be much better than we were last year to beat them again this year.
Regardless of how good/bad you think LSU is you can see the talent upgrades, tenacity, physicality, & swagger FSU possessed compared to last year.

They are more than 'a little better than last year'. Their defense is markedly better. Their receiving corps has two or three new and good weapons. they are legitimate and it appears that Norville will be keeping them that way by bring new talent in through the portal to fit his needs.

FSU will definitely be ranked higher when they roll into DV, their next two games are Southern Miss and Boston College. I’d rather beat\play them at their best.

That FSU team is going to be putting some massive beat downs on the downtrodden ACC brethren.

I feel G Riley is going to make a massive difference this year. Is that good enough to beat FSU, don’t know. Glancing at their schedule, I only see at PITT as a potential slip-up for them…maybe at FLA cause it’s a huge rivalry.

We will need to match FSU physically to get the win. I am hoping these tigers have that edge. I think watching FSU tonight will get the tigers firing on all cylinders vs Duke. All eyes will be on Clemson Monday night.

One thing i noticed is LSU gassed and #18 was wrecking their OL pretty much alone before his gas tank emptied out. Clemson will have 3 guys like #18 and more speed on the Edge.
I think as long as the offense is improved they beat FSU.

assessment is they are LSU 2018. Coleman is right up there with OSU’s WRs as best in the country. Bell is a matchup nightmare. RBs are physical. Travis extends plays, and is a more than adequate runner. Edge rushers are way above average. Corners are serviceable. They are for sure undefeated or only a loss to us going into ACC championship game with their schedule.

Ya know, you are right. They did look good last night. However, I am approaching it with a bit of skepticism honestly. Here is why. Despite what the talking heads would have someone who didn't watch the game last year; FSU pretty much had control of that game last year as well. But, for some out of this world, you gotta be kidding me circumstances the game isn't close last year either.
LSU as it turned out wasn't LSU of 2019 and great. I think they win more than they lose for certain; but I am not sold on them being all that. I can't believe DBU had a kid from ACC school no less getting a majority of reps at CB.(Syracuse transfer).
If you have Jordan Travis on your team; you can win games. He reminds me of a taller Russell Wilson with his poise. Throw in tall WR's and bam you have something special.
But, like last year are we giving LSU too much credit because of course they will be overrated because they are SEC blue blood. But are they actually good; IDK.
As you said, it's always good to see Brian Kelly get his behind beat. Now, LSU needs to go beat up on the SEC - so us ACC fans can remind SEC folk "their bully got bullied"!
