He has made great hires, they just aren’t doing a good job.
His players are spoiled and don’t work as hard as players used to, because now they are paid. That, or they are too Northern or too Christian.
Plus, NIL and the portal make it nearly impossible for Dabo to get the right players, because it’s all about money which we have little or cheating which we won’t do.
Finally, he also has to deal with spoiled fans who expect too much of him and who clearly hate him or else they wouldn’t criticize him.
It’s a rough situation for Dabo.

Little Duke known for basketball isn't complaining about NIL/portal. They have used all those tools to get better and beat Dabo twice in three years with two different head coaches. Why can't Clemson? We have a stubborn coach who really hasn't wanted to change with the times. IMO.

People on here giving those excuses have made it clear that they will not hold Dabo accountable, no matter what results he gets. In fact, now that gaslighting people who were warning everyone that this was going to happen is no longer an option, all they have left is repeat those lame excuses, over, and over, and over; TU each others lame rah rah posts.
