I have 3. I got to take my son and my oldest grandson to the Gator Bowl. We were bewildered for 3 quarters, hopeful for most of the 4th, and joyful for the last few seconds.

I remember my first grandchild.

When her dad and mom first married I hired him. I dropped by their house every morning to pick him up. I showed up a hour early so I could spend some time with with the baby. I would go scoop her out of the crib and take her to the living room and hold her.
I would drop daddy off at home and take the baby home with me. We only lived a few miles apart. Grandma would fix supper for all of us and my daughter and SNL would eat with us.
I was the goto baby sitter for her and most of my 14 grandchildren. I'm missing out of my two great grandsons though. They live far away.
Congratulations to the better half of adulthood. My prayers for the mama, baby, daddy and rest of your family.
