I don't either Myfav, I guess for about a year of setting up the John boat that my brother left to after he passed, I sold it all bc I knew there would never be anymore fishing trips even close to the ones me and my Big Brother shared throughout our life time. I did take the boat down to the lake Murry dan and fished a little the islands and those huge under water rocks for brim.

When me and my brother went fishing, he run the outboard motor bc like he told me, he better drive so we would have a motor to get us back to Sparkleberry landing, but I was the one that always sit up front and run the trolling motor, and put me in the best looking spots first

, and while running the trolling motor at Lake Murry, every time I looked toward the out board motor, I would see my brother smiling at me bc he knew what I was doing putting myself in the best spots, or I would see him rigging up different rods with differ type of spinner baits or lurers. I have to say that it's hard to fish when your eyes are streaming tears, or when you're just boo hooing, and the last time I went alone, I stopped and bought some for sale signs, and I sold it all in a cple of days. Actually I told Spud what all I had, and he helped me out with a suggested price I should ask, and it was gone in a cple of days....

God is good, God is great, now let's thank him for the awesome blessing that he gave for Spud. Great news that I was glad to hear from you Spud, you and you fish pics takes me back to some awesome memories made in Sparkleberry Swamp that I shared with my brother that's now fishing in Heaven.

Before they started trying to commercialize Sparkleberry Swamp, my brother would take me in that Swamp to a floating cabin he and his best fishing buddies built close to dead river, and we would stay and fish sometimes for a week at a time. We would catch those monster bass, and some of the pics you post brings those memories back almost as clear as times we were having the time of lives, and even though I grew up to be taller than my oldest brother, in that swamp I always saw him as my big brother bc without him, I couldn't have ever fished in Sparkleberry Swamp bc you needed a special sense of direction to go in that swamp and find your way back out.

So, I'm thanking God for blessing you with favor bc, without some of the pics that you post of your fishing trip, the memories of my trips fishing with my brother may not be as clear bc he knew where the monster bass were, and we would mostly catch and release bc he would say to me that old girl, or that old man has been living in that swamp for a very long time, and we should let them live on, but I would say but somebody would catch them and take them home and enjoy eating them like I would do if we kept them. He would say probably not bc we just helped them to be a little smarter about what they were chasing after to eat, and I always believe that he was right bc most of the big bass we caught in Sparkleberry, they never had any signs that they had been hooked before, and I would say first, I guess we just made him smarter. I wish all hunters and fisherman was as respectful with those things as he was bc he would tell me to never take more than I intended to eat for a meal, and that it was a sin to let what you caught or killed to go to waste.... God has blessed you Spud, and through you fishing pics my memories were blessed. God is good isn't he!!!
