And purchased instead a young indentured servant vintner named Francisco from a gang in Guatemala. He’s been a godsend to our vineyard and I think we will end up saving money in the long run.

We can’t mock the winos without having a refreshing beverage ourselves. Here it’s Lite and bourbon and a little bourbon and Lite. I also had a Mike’s Hard Lemonade. Now I have acid reflux. You live and you learn.

Ha - Nothing that cool. I've just started getting into them. I really just started getting into Italian reds in the past year or so and have leaned towards Veneto (Amarones and Valpolcella Ripassos). Really been liking the Tuscans I've had lately. I like Sangiovese, but to me it is much better mixed with French grapes.
The one I had the other night was a Tolaini. Think velvety, dark fruit, licorice, earthy. I think it was equal parts Sangiovese, Cab Sav, and Merlot. Wasn't terribly expensive - around $30 at Assorted Table wine shop.

Actually it was Paul Masson Very Smoove but same difference. Not as good as bourbon for toddies, but I just felt like a change after two days of Evan Williams BIB (cheap but good bourbon).
