Wonder if sign Chase is not coming back? They are very similar players. Good pick up if he's not, and also if he is similar to Chase and JGIII and when Dawes was at Clemson.
I hope the next position is an athletic foward to replace Godfrey.

Great trade! He makes less turnovers than Beadle and can actually score the basketball. Great pickup for Clemson BB.

Not the proficient shooter that JGIII was, but a better defender and overall faster guard who can score.

Defensively there will be little resemblance. Could be one of toughest backcourts in the league defensively.

says in the article the opportunity to play with chase, along with JGIII's success were factors in his decision to play here, so yeah, our backcourt will be tough.

Was thinking the same thing in regards to Chase. Maybe if Chase does return, he will move back to his old 2-guard spot, but Zachery will be the primary point IMO. It’s a good pick up. We need the scoring and ball handling. Ability to penetrate will be a huge plus regardless of Chase returning.

Major upgrade vs Beadle and huge pickup! Still sad about losing Godfrey, but to give Brownell some credit, he’s been decent in portal!
If schiefflin and hunter both come back, team can be pretty good!

I expect that Chase will not be back, not because he gets taken in the draft, but he can sign a contract for millions playing overseas. Why else do you declare for the draft but to make money playing basketball?
