We shouldnt have lost that game, we were the better team

We didn’t take care of the ball, should have never went to overtime period. Having a young QB hurts, reminds me of Deshaun in 2014.

Cade will be fine, in fact he will be better because we lost, he’s a winner who will work hard to be great.

Most of you handled the loss better than the Duke loss. Hopefully, WR will be looking to hook up with us for playing time, we need some deep pockets to help with those skill players too.

I though we were going to win up until the 1st play of OT, we had never trailed, FSU was very lucky 🍀 to escape with a win.

Cade is going to be a very good QB the more experience he gains

I don't know that we ARE better but those men definitely played better. A couple of critical plays and coaching decisions really hurt. Games with similarly talented teams look a lot like NFL games where a play here and a decision there are the difference.

Turnovers that result in points are deadly***

The play where Cade got hit & it was run back for a TD reminded me of the hit we got against Alabama in the 44-16 romp.

I'm glad to say I was wrong about getting steam rolled. Clemson played great minus a few plays. Cade played exceptionally well minus some decision making. I don't know if the sky is falling, but we could always use more talent to fix some depth at key positions. My biggest takeaway from the game was why did the coaches get so conservative near the end of regulation? It was tied with ball around 12-15 yd line on a 3rd and 11 and we decide to run the ball with Cade. They should have passed. You play to win the game. You don't play to go to overtime. As a result it bit them in the butt. I also don't understand how the players were not aware enough to get up on the line after Shipley's run right before the end of regulation. They could have spiked the ball and taken a shot at the end zone. I don't need to reiterate the nonsensical decisions made in OT. But this game should have never gone to OT.

FB is that way sometimes. Clemson has won a bunch of games during this great run that could of been loses. A flag here ot there at the wrong time. The ball doesn't always bounce your way. In close games everything is magnified.

The better team won. Why? Coaching. It all boils down to coaching. Not just in game coaching, but coaching during practice, game planning and developing the talent you have. We are not doing that. If Dabo wants to take credit for the wins and the natties, he has to also own the losses. You can't put the losses on the players and the wins on the coach.

Putting your friends, relatives, and inexperienced people on the coaching payroll is not what championship teams do and stay relevant. The roosters have come home to roost. And until that is corrected, get used to the supposedly better team losing.

I am not satisfied with the better team losing mentality. I am not satisfied unless the better team wins a natty. Losing never leaves me satisfied. And I would never want to be surrounded by that mentality. Go down the road to cooterville if that is your cup of tea. You don't fix a problem by making excuses for it and pretending nothing is wrong. If you work for me and I pay you a salary that puts you in the top of the profession, I expect you to perform at the top of the game. That's being real.
