Football is a dying sport and it is being killed from the inside. The continued wussifiction of the sport is going to be its demise. I understand the safety of the players comes first, but the safety measures hat are being put in place are killing the soul of the game.

trying to figure out what is and isnt holding anymore. two hands full of jersey and a takedown are just fine about every play of the game but two. you never know when those are going to be

this wknd, we saw several terrible injuries. It is a contact sport.....with a certain degree of danger....everyone knows the risks..........spot the ball and play the game. Dayuum.

Actually, you're the idiot. Perhaps you should read author Friday Night Lights, "Buzz" Bissinger. He did piece in the Wall Street Journal: "Why College Football Should Be Banned." Ban it! It loses money for most universities. It does not emphasize academics. It's nothing more than an unpaid minor league system for the NFL. He stated a long list of reasons and physical injuries were last on that list.
Most Sports Bloggers are liberal and yes, some are bringing attention to some of the concussions and injuries.
If Football is sooo dangerous, then what about Hockey?? Hockey is a much more Brutal sport that has many more injuries. For God's sake, they drop gloves and throw punches!
Why no "Rule Changes" there?
