Clemson needed a last second score to beat Kentucky. Georgia beat the ACC Champs by 300. The gap is real.

If Mafah runs well and Cade doesn't turn it over this game will be close going into the 4th. To win we need a new force to emerge on offense. We have several "goods" but have been missing a "great" for quite a while.

I agree. With better oline and QB play Clemson keeps it close for a half (or so.) I think UGA eventually pulls away - because of the gap.

The force that you speak of is called Matt Luke, Antonio Williams, Mafah, Randall, Briningstool, Turner, Bentancur, Moore, Wesco, Klubnik, and Gunn. With all that talent on the offense, no team will keep Clemson out of the endzone in 2024. Let the mutts bark all they want bc it will be easier to show them than it will be trying to tell them bc they want to believe that they're unbeatable, but they are!!!

To be fair Clemson was missing most of its secondary in the Kentucky game. Nate Wiggins was a 1st round pick the Mukuba and Pride transferred.

That certainly contributed to KY throwing for nearly 100 yards more than their per game average....but those same players won't be in the Clemson secondary on August 31st. If Leary can go for 300 yards (w/o Pride and Wiggins on the field), I'd image Carson Beck is capable of a big day.

I’m a diehard Tiger. No QB means no chance. Clemson D will come out and hold their own until they get so worn down they can’t get off the field. I predict an embarrassing loss fueled by offensive play that will embarrass a little league coach. I hope I’m wrong but not looking forward to watching. Not the same team. Georgia should be favored by 13. Don't be surprised if you Dawgs stubke into a "fight foe your lives" trying to pull it out. The gap is smaller than you think.

I agree. I also don’t know how on earth an offense that scored one touchdown against Duke and South Carolina…COMBINED…is supposed to do anything against Georgia’s defense. I’ll cross my fingers and hope there’s some monumental improvements from Cade and co.

Georgia will be a really good team again this year because their coaches are great recruiters. We have to prove we can score against a good defense, our defense has to prove they are capable of stopping a good offense and we have to find a kicker. Hopefully we can play well enough to hang around and have a chance late and then who knows.
