Again. There isnt a team out there that hits on every recruit. Not clemson football, not alabama football, not duke basketball.
The fact that we must hit on every recruit in basketball is not realistic. Neither is making. Deep run in the tournament every year.

huh? Brownell had 1 deep run in his whole career. and 1 out of 15 years while at Clemson so your post makes no sense. FACT is Louisville is crushing us in the portal and we have added a couple players out of the 6 or 7 we need. Godfrey averaged 6 points per game so he will not replace the scoring we lost. We are in desperate need of proven wing players and guards that can score , and the portal is pretty much picked over at this point.

Twist your buddy’s comments all you want but it was just another typical cheap shot at the football program and coach. Followed by the hypocrisy of him saying that we should pull for all Clemson sports when he does this on a very regular basis.

Stop being so sensitive.
The point is that both sports have many many players in the portal and we can’t get them all, even if we wanted to.
These dramatic posts about Clemson basketball “losing another player” from the portal implies several things:
1. We wanted them.
2. We offered them a scholarship.
3. They were a priority for us.
Maybe we did really want them, but maybe we didn’t. Just because someone tweeted that we contacted a guy doesn’t mean anything.
Regardless, even if we did really want him, why are some of you bashing the coaches over it? Sometimes we miss guys we want. It happens to even the best recruiters - yes, even Dabo.

Don't recall seeing him listed, but could be wrong.
We definitely need shooters, but the Lul is throwing around some serious jack. Their backcourt is now 4 deep with quality, starter players. Will be interesting how the PT breaks down.
I also think we're likely targeting more than just one and done guys.

the last two years was our window. Everyone was down and we were up (for us). I don’t expect teams like Louisville and UNC and UVA to be down long. The NC state series isn’t looking good for us either going off what we saw this year.
