We lost one of the greatest Tigers

10 years ago today. My dad graduated in 1965. He served his country proudly as an officer in Germany until 1969.

He is the reason my whole family are Tigers. It started in the early 70's for me. He drove me up from Atlanta a good 50+ times. I've flown to Tulane (81) and driven as far as the Gator Bowl(77). I've seen Montana,George Rogers ,Herschel,Boomer and so many greats only because of him.

Today I am sure he will look down on our Tigers and get us one step closer to the greatest year eve! We miss you and go Tigers!!!!

Sorry for your loss your dad sounded like a great man. I'm glad we have Tigers looking down on us smiling and loving this season just as much as us that are still here.

avid as we are. He finished in 1956. The biggest reason I've missed only 8 games since 1973. I hope all those tigers from above send down that special mojo today. Thanks for sharing! Go tigers!!!
