This stems to more than just Riley I'm afraid. I just hope he isn't the only guy being let go at the end of the year. We don't need another scapegoat.
We have dozens of assistants, analyst, coordinators (and I don't mean the offensive or defensive kind), and other staff that need to be gone at this point.
Time for a massive change in philosophy for how everything is handled in practice, scouting, the whole 9. It needs to be happen if we are going to stay serious about football in Clemson. The culture can stay, it needs to be altered but it can stay but the philosophies, they need to change.

Our play schemes are terrible. Our O-line has been terrible. Not many QBs will grow and thrive in that environment.

Dang that is BAD

Sometimes, statistics say it louder than platitudes like ‘moxie’ or ‘leadership qualities.’
I wonder how many of our fans sense that his jumping around and exultations after a good play have a whiff of inauthenticity? I’m not saying that overt enthusiastic is the worst thing (depressed behavior is much worse), but the over the top ‘happy’ behavior is, IMO, not good.
Being stoic after he did a bad play, congratulatory in an adult-like sense of a teammates good play, and calmly supportive of a teammate who flubbed up a play would be better ways to show leadership.
Now, when a really big play happens (TD, tackle busting run, D-Hop type pass catch, killer block), then naturally originated exuberant behavior is OK.
Authenticity is hard to fake. Most people see through inauthenticity.
IMO.

Glad someone else sees this too. Ever notice his interviews and how he parrots Dabo? He’s a bad actor. I don’t think the players like him and have quit on him. JMO

He has a problem with his deep ball. I keep hearing that he doesn't have the arm strength. He absolutely does, but for some reason on deep balls he throws it way too high. He loses too much power push up that he should be using to push out. He need to bring the angle down a few degrees. That is why receivers have to wait on the deep ball.

That’s because a lot of times he is floating it off his back foot. It’s the same bad habit I saw in high school. He really needs to step into his throws, but this has always been a challenge for him.

Cade isn't the only one who regresses after spending time with the friends and family coaching staff.

I think this staff is littered with incompetence. Did Dabo watch any TCU football before he hired Riley? I know they had a good run but they didn't make you go WOW!

There is no reason not to see what Vizzina or the Freshman QB can do given what we’ve seen from Klubnick. Maybe it’s the money he’s paid and that’s why they are “stuck”.
I don’t feel like the team is playing for him. They know way better than any of us how pathetic he’s been this year.
I bet Pearman could do better than that graphic.
