Could Deshaun follow in Spiller's footsteps and end up staying for senior year?

Highly doubtful. After Spiller's third year he was not considered a lock first round pick. In fact most of the Clemson fan base was pi%%ed that TB didn't use Spiller more in his first and second year. (Thank you Rob Spence, the bubble screen man.....)
But who knows, maybe he will stay. Some sports writers and commentators are already talking about DW being a first overall pick. If that's the case, he would be foolish to stay IMO.

Unless something negative happens - he should go after three. I wish he would stay, but in his best interest - he should go. But we get one more!

us but Watson is on a whole other level. Once in a generation type kid. His poise and calmness is mind blowing. He does not get rattled. Amazing...

I think most of us doubt it, but it would be great.

I hope when he does get drafted, that he goes somewhere where he has a chance to shine though. I just hope it isn't the Bills.

Bryant is one heck of a runner. But I dont know if his passing ability is as good as Watson's. But Bryant will be a good Qb at Clemson. Its just DW is a once in a lifetime type Qb

If he goes after 3 years, I would totally understand.

He needs to take care of his wonderful family, and that NFL contract would set them up for life. If he has a first round draft grade, he's got to go for the draft. I'm assuming he'll finish his degree next year, he's gonna accomplish everything he wants to on the college level, he won't have anything left to prove.
The knock on him by scouts will probably be durability. If he has two healthy seasons back-to-back, that will be minimized and he has to capitalize.
It would be amazing and a dream come true if he stays 4 years, but his top priority should be what's best for him and his family. I will support whatever Watson's decision is. Young man has a great head on his shoulders and we will always be grateful for what he has done for Clemson University.

a different cat (like CJ), he's having fun, got great teammates, and it doesn't seem to be about him. With the OL we're developing, he could really set some records and the NFL will always be there.
Who knows though?

He is the type of kid that might stay 4. It would be stupid to assume anything. Whatever he does it will be after careful, intelligent consideration. And I will support whatever decision he makes 100 %.
