Watching TV at Tailgate Question

Nov 20, 2022, 12:32 AM

For those of you who have TV’s at your tailgate, what kind of generator do you use to power it? Looking for something that is easily portable in an SUV.

look at the generac series of generators. I have the 2200i. It runs forever on a tank of gas and is quite. Much less expensive than the Honda's that everyone thinks they must have.

And...aren't they made in South Carolina?***

The only reason we “think we must have them”

Is because Honda generators are better. Period.

Deep cycle battery with an inverter always served us well.

If battery gets low charge it with the truck for little while.

I use a small propane powered ryobi that has done great, quiet and hook it to 20 lb propane tank I get 3-4 games out of it.

NO NOISE, NO FUEL, NO SMELL

CHEAPER and lasts 24 hours!

My family is authorized Genrac sales and service., and I’ll STILL recommend an inverter and battery for tailgate TV. Hands down, no contest.
