Auburn was great. Lots of hospitality and tradition. I see why people compare it to Clemson. Other than being a nervous wreck for 3 hrs it was a good trip.

Parked in a big field about a mile from the stadium. Free. Lots of Clemson fans were there tailgating.
Auburn fans were pretty quiet. I didn't hear one peep before or after the game. No trash talk, but no congrats either.
Nice stadium but not As loud as I expected them to be. Va Tech is louder w/ 20k less people.
War Eagle flight around stadium before the game is cool.
Their fans are about their wits end with Gus, and last nights rotation of QB's did nothing to help matters.

I can't say that I blame them about Gus. His play calling wasn't bad other than never letting Franklin run. That kid is too fast, but a part of me wondered if Gus, or even Franklin was afraid that our boys would have broken him in half. But it almost seemed he got too smart for his own good with the revolving door at QB.

Beautiful campus and FIRST CLASS fans. A few were ticked at their coach, but NEVER ran their mouths before or after. My first trip, but hopefully not my last.

was impressed with the campus

With all of the talk about the similarities between Clemson and Auburn, there is one notable difference. At AU, the athletic facilities are basically at the center on campus, and are a focal point. I would estimate that Jordan Hare is visible from 75% of the campus (DV at around 25%). I think that is a pretty cool concept.
Also really impressed with their Acquatic center and student wellness facility. My son is a swimmer, and his dream would be to swim for Auburn. They won 15 consecutive SEC titles in swimming, and 5 straight nattys.

Reminds me of A&M fans which is the polar opposite of Georgia and $CU fans.

Yes they were great. Just a couple riding by in cars yelling but no big deal. They treated us very well.

I had a great time at Auburn. As usual, their fans were very nice to us. We went to sky bar Friday night and met a lot of fans. It was wall to wall with youngsters. They were all friendly and there was one guy that really went out of his way thanking us for being there. Another guy that stopped by our tailgate couldn't stop talking about Watson and how humble he is. He was a senior and Watson was in the eight grade and his high school scrimmaged watsons high school weekly at time. He said Watson remembered him and is truly a better person than a quarterback. That says a lot about watsons character. Their fans were relatively quiet but very helpful if you asked how to or where is??? We were lucky to get out of there with a win.

I thought the fans were very hospitable.. They seemed to have a lot of repeat for us. Some of the younger guys were obnoxious, but that's ok. Peoe we sat around were all Auburn. very nice and chatted us up, seemed real genuine. Our fans were in pretty good numbers but so far from the action we couldn't make much noise. After out last td A LOT of AU fans left and really hurt there noise level. It was a very quiet walk out of th stadium. Never heard a cadence count or many go tigers. Everyone was kind of reliefed and just not a lot of typica we won rah rah stuff.

When the big trees were there, it was more impressive. Campus overall was very nice. I really liked how they accommodate RVs and have large free parking pretty close to the stadium. I was in the upper deck so it wasn't impressively loud. It may be louder on the field where the lower level bowl may amplify crowd noise better. SEC schools have half the student body in the band. I'd recommend a game weekend to the Plains to anyone.

It was sort of hard identifying them, as we all had on the same colors. But talked with quite a few hanging out pre-game, and some walking out of the stadium. Good people. Several are planning on a trip to Clemson next year. They were all nice and congratulatory afterward. They don't like Gus any more, so he may NOT be planning that trip. They were working in the "clear bag policy" for the first time too, and the womenfolk were not happy about it.
Easy in, easy out of parking lots and city. But without a lake, you can enter/exit in all directions. We came in some back way, so maybe we just got lucky. Plus I would assume the Ga approach is a bit less, much like coming into Clemson from the Ga/Seneca side.
The cool thing was that there was not ONE car parked within about 3 blocks of the stadium. I'd love it if Clemson could do that. Imagine not one car inside 93/Perimeter Road. But the whining that would produce (yeah, I know that really wouldn't be feasible at Clemson).
A bit surprised that the crowd SAT most of the time during play (students being the exception). We didn't need to stand much at all. Student section was PACKED 2 hours before kickoff - I wish our students were like that....a first come, first served policy like they have would accomplish that. Their band was miked up with huge speakers surrounding the field, even had one pointing towards our band. Bad form. That was where most of the noise came from (band and students).
They had LOTS of former players on the sidelines. I like schools that promote that.

Fans were really nice, campus was really nice, overall we were impressed with the trip minus the drive lol. On another note our stadium is much louder, we sat 2nd row 40 yard line and they were pumping crowd noise through their on field speakers which I thought was lame

Had a great time. The Auburn fans were truly hospitable. Great food, fun and fellowship. ... just like a college football Saturday in the South should be.
Good game atmosphere. Ginormous video board. Best video and sound system I've seen.

AU fans were polite and well behaved. Very loud but not obnoxious. A far cry from Dawg fans in Athens. Parking was very easy and LEO did great job with traffic control. Great night overall

Traffic was NOTHING. Like going to a Wake game.
Weather was awesome for tailgating.
LOTS of Clemson fans where we were parked a bit NE of the campus.
Auburn fans nice, but generally quite. Listening to some of the while walking they did not have high expectations for the game.
Campus is very nice. Similar to Clemson in a lot of ways.
Stadium was nice, but not very loud from where we were in the upper deck.
They have an orange-out, but the team wears blue?
Amazing sound and video screen. We really need to hook up with their AV folks.
Lame cheers in the stadium
Concessions were terrible! They are modeled after Athens no doubt.
Did I say that the weather was awesome?
Traffic on the way out was not an issue either. Very Wake-like.
Excellent trip. Will make that one again!

First time to Auburn, no trash talk from fans. Ate at many Auburn tailgates. Also parked for free not far from stadium. Night before went to Skybar which was crowded but pretty fun, nothing like it at Clemson. Eagle flying into stadium was fun to see. Not as loud as I thought, I've been to away games at Va Tech and even gulp, Scar at their height that were louder. Overall great experience and I would go back. Fanbase had much more class than most of SEC, certainly more than Scar, UGA, Tenn, LSU
