If she's a hollerer, she'll be a screamer.
If she's a screamer, she'll get you arrested.

If you're going to make a broad sweeping statement...

like that admitting defeat then please admit that we will build immunity even without a vaccine.

I'm not admitting defeat. I'm saying the odds to beat this

are greater with antivirals and treatment versus a vaccine. There are some that already have a measurable impact in trials. Some viruses are easy to make a vaccine for. Some are nearly impossible. This one is in the family of impossible (to date). So is HIV. Doesn't mean we can't cure or treat HIV successfully, because we can. Odds are antivirals for this will be more effective now, with this.

Nothing to do with defeat. And yes, this will stop when we build immunity and everyone (or a majority) are exposed to it. But a vaccine will not happen before that time passes, but antiviral treatments can happen much faster.

The OP was an article about how TREATMENTS have been working and they've been showing success. It's not even about a vaccine.

That's where it originated so they have had more time..

to work with the virus. I suspect China's testing on this virus started way before the virus contaminated Wuhan.
