Championship is all over the Internet this morning. We all have our conspiracy theories about ESPN & the National Media having it out for us, BUT let the stats speak for themselves. UNC was "given" at least 21 points by our mistakes-that is part of the game unfortunately. Yes, we had just as many bad calls or no calls go against us (target on punt & holding Shaq, for example). What the worst part is, the uninformed media or fan will believe it--just because it's on the Internet. The CFP committee has enough resources to get it right today & the college football world will move forward.
What matters is TIGER NATION sees & believes that we kicked UNC's butt all over the field and we are the ACC CHAMPIONS and are going to move into the Final 4 against the 3 other best teams in America. If you line up all the other games yesterday, each and every one had problems. Wipe the slate clean, let every player get rested & healed up, the coaches make their plans and knock heads in January.

If referring to the off-sides penalty on the on-side kick, it was the correct call. Count the number of UNC players that were not inside the 9 yard marker. The penalty could have been called on several of their players.

The blown calls were: phantom interception, targeting call that wasn't called

Even ESPN commentators said that there was a penalty that should have been called against UNC for not having enough players lined up in one side of the football. Further,ESPN noted that UNC would have had to score a TD and a 2 point conversion just to tie the game. Beating Clemson was a bit of a reach.
Clemson had big leads throughout the second half and never trailed. They dominated UNC throughout the game. Without Clemson's self-destructive nature the game wouldn't have been close at all. Besides, UNC has gotten ALL of the calls since 1953....hearing anybody cry for them just makes me laugh.

I was at the game with my nephew who is a Southern Conference referee, he said immediately that the cheats were offsides.

Even if they would've gotten the call, they would have to march down the field, score a TD AND and a 2-pt conversion and then, it would be tied...
It's not like they got a phantom holding call on the winning touchdown. Give me a break. They never had a shot.
