Legitimate chance to go 6-6
Don’t see the Sooners suffering that well

They are in the big time now. SEC. Their schedule likely doubled in degree of difficulty.

6-7 his first season 10-3 last season 4-2 this season.
And crushed my rival 34-3. Offense has very little to offer any defense that is decent.
I think they give him this year and next, but that is about it IMO. Maybe they can turn it and get his team on track.
He is a defensive coordinator at heart, head coach is a tough spot. I hope he can last and help them out but to get back to Switzer or Stoops days, just do not see anything close to that.
He is getting paid well, he can go back to DC easily when his time runs out.

other than that 21 point swing great defence of play (got fumble but yes UT still got TD) and fumble next series. Close game even with QB that played kinda stiff. They still beat Texas last year not sure year one. They got one of the hardest SEC schedules I think. I feel OU give him a least couple seasons in SEC to get his footing.

Stoops and Switzer legacy probably very different if played in SEC. I think even at their calibre it would take them several seasons to adjust to the SEC. Dabo and Ford Clemson best two coaches my lifetime could compete in SEC but still take few years to get the top. Usually Clemson takes few games to get meshed so they would be meshed when conference started.

Oklahoma has a tough, tough schedule and having an 8-4 record would be great.

I'll be there biggest fan this weak against USC. I got then beating USC Maine Mizzou LSU and Alabama. Losing Ole Miss my GrandPa family been Ole Miss for over 100 years. From Mizzou LSU Bama Ole Miss I have them taking at least 3 games. Alabama and Ole Miss struggling of late.

I see 8-4 probably with an upset 9-3. Both should be good for contract extension. Least he's man even to try to compete in SEC didn't run to Southern Cal to play in weaker conference. Hilarious it back fired when they moved to former BigTwo conference.

Watched either of their QB’s play
They have a schedule from #### and 2 total busts at QB
They have zero chance of 9 wins and 8 wins will be nothing short of a miracle
Please tell us the 4 games they are going to win that are getting them to 8 wins…

Let that soak in. I dont see how he isnt on the hot seat if the rest of the season goes the way it looks like it will.

I think he'll get a pass this year. True freshman at QB and all the starting WR's injured. They could still win out. Ole Miss and LSU are over ranked, even where they are now. Alabama has definitely shown kinks in their armor. That leaves SC and Maine at home.

He just signed an extension this year. His seat isn't even warm yet. He will also be given grace for being the hometown boy and for this being his first year in a new conference. A couple more mediocre-bad years and then it will start heating up.
