Vegas odds for game.....what changed it so much

Prior to the playoffs the other day, I think Vegas had Clemson about a 3 to 5 point favorite over LSU if they were to play.....now Clemson is a 5 to 6 point underdog.......did it change that much because Clemson won a very close game vs a very good OSU team and LSU blew out a not so very good OK team.....does not make much sense with a swing that big especially the other way.....I don’t think Vegas listens to the biased talking heads so what the crap happened .....Go Tigers!!!!!

Clemson was favored prior to the conference championship games. I guess LSU dominating UGA was more impressive than the UVA performance. And, probably more importantly, the OU blowout likely skewed the line even further.
That’s my best guess. But just a guess.

To say a team that was 12-1 heading in the LSU game be labeled as a "not so good" is showing your bias. Oklahoma was a solid team that ran into a buzz saw. Was OSU a better team? Yes, but you can't take away that dominating performance. 49 points in one half? When LSU puts up over 40 points against Clemson, they will own the record for most points scored in a season and add to all the records that have already been broken.

It is not showing my bias buddy.....it just shows OK was a not so good 12 - 1 team who would have been destroyed by Clemson and OSU just like LSU stuck a fork in them.....they did not belong......Go Tigers!!!!!

from the idiots who overreacted to LSU demolishing a Oklahoma D that even when healthy is mediocre at best & they were missing half their first teamers, any great offense would've destroyed them, all the smart money will come in on Clemson. 72-4 in last 76 and would be 75-1 with a +5.5 point spread, so all the stupid emotional betting will be for LSU, ESPN's darling who keeps hanging on to Joe Burrow's jock strap. +3 Clemson is a much more accurate line

Vegas points spreads are predictive of only one thing: Money flow. Bettors are the ones who determine the final point spread.
The initial point spread is just a guess by the odds makers, who then adjust based on the money flow.

no the line the week before leading up to last weeks games in a hypothetical match up between Clemson & LSU, Clemson was as much as a 3 point favorite, and while they were not official lines, but were put together by one of the larger books in Vegas
