It's funny, I have travelled a lot in my life, but for some reason(watching alcohol consumption), I don't feel like forcing a trip somewhere. If I did go somewhere, it would probably be the coast of Spain or Portugal, maybe Croatia or Albania.

Highly recommend the Old Oyster Factory. It is really nice and the food is top shelf. My teenager was raving about the complex flavors - what? Really good!

We are on Amelia Island right now and everything is fantastic. The Beach is never crowded and the weather is great and the food selections are awesome.

Also in HH right now, Sea Pines, riding bike, hitting beach…. Caught. Bunch of redfish today, took them to Hudsons and they cooked em up good for us….. love it here

That sounds great... and delicious!!!
We go to Hilton Head twice every summer. We stay at a buddy's house 1 block off Forrest Beach (located just outside the south entrance to Sea Pines). We pretty much have a beach to ourselves.

We live in paradise in Northeast Florida. Paradise for most of the year, at least, except summer when it becomes almost unbearably HOT & HUMID!!!
So, this summer, we are spending just over a week in July in the Lake Junaluska/Waynesville area of WNC where it should be cool in the evenings and pleasant during the days.

It's a good thing I traveled and vacationed to a lot of countries and all but 4 states when I was younger because with the farm and very few people around that can take care of all the animals, a day or 2 is all I can get now.
Probably will go up in the local mountains to enjoy the rivers, nature and trout fishing.

Just got back from France. 3 days in Paris, day trip to Normandy, then 7 days on a barge in the Burgundy region. Food and wine were terrific.

We are in Yellowstone right now, been to jackson Hole WY, and will be headed to Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Black Hills and Custer State Park in SD before heading home. Been an awesome trip so far.

I remember a trip to Yellowstine pretty much the same as yours in 1989 (the year after the big fires). I liked it so much, I went back in 2003 and still think I would like to do more there.

Ate at a restaurant there with rattlesnake sausage and cactus fries. An old cowboy type guy came in while we were waiting and checked his 6gun with the hostess.

I am lucky to have access to condo there whenever I vacation. I can’t think of a prettier place than Shell Ring brewery to have a cold one and watch the sunset then a great dinner at 11th street Fishcamp. A day trip to Edisto or Bluffton A great time at that little secret beach at Lands End on St Helena island. Oops don’t tell anybody about that. Hunting Island state park. Long walks in Beaufort. I love that place and plan to retire there in a couple of years.

I remember when 2 or 3 of those things washed across the marsh to my home on Wadmalaw Island. My Vervet monkeys are always on the look out for intruders.....years of training on my part. Well anyways, my Vervet monkeys got the best of the Spider Monkeys and made cute little throw pillows out of them. I think Mr. Pickles, the defacto leader of my Vervet monkeys, loaded them up with hemp and is running a smuggling business out by the side of the swamp. Anyways......what was this poast about again???

Live in Pawleys, so almost everyday is a vacation. Bride & I are headed to Grand Cayman second week in Sept. Staying at an ocean front condo near Lighthouse point, with a very nice swim out for scuba diving from shore. Dive shop and good restaurant are next door. Already planning where to watch the App St game in Cayman. Anyone have suggestions?
