Until we spend 5-10 million dollars on an elite QB

We will not be a top contender. It’s as easy as that. College football has lost what made it great IMO. It has lost its luster to me just like professional sports. I watch the Clemson games but no others. I no longer care about “recruiting” nor will I lose sleep over a win or loss.
My son gets his masters in May, and I expect I’ll care about college sports even less after that.
That said… I’m looking forward to the ACC championship game and some good basketball and later baseball. Go Tigers!!!

If I could find the football between all the commercials I might care more. I am to the point of recording it joining an hour or more after the start so I can scroll past the never ending reviews and commercials to see actual football.

Couldn't agree more. It's getting to the point where watching a football game takes FOREVER. As bad as major league baseball used to be.

Sellers was a solid recruit heading to Syracuse. Good football coaches and additional experience from the portal Klubnik can get it done. Dabo wanting to grow his coaching tree as his legacy has brought this on

Cade was considered elite out if HS and would cost that possibly now if he were coming out. Hunter Johnson would have as well.

But no one thought that they would be “generational” QBs. Cade is good, but he can’t completely carry the team. Hunter was just not as advertised. That’s on recruiting…

Generational talent is rare. We may not even land that guy, every blue moon, when that guy comes along. Even if we are willing to pay.

That's true, because our offense has no fundamentals or discipline. We have

to have superman playing QB to win against a good defense. That's been true for the last 15 years, still true today.

Except for the decision on the last pass, Cade played a really good game. Cade's total offense was 342 yards and Sellers was 340. Our issues are on defense, not offense.

Offense had issues. Have to score and we don't enough.

who are the generational QB's in college football this year? I don't see one at Jawja, or Bama, or Ohio St, or Oregon, or ND, or Penn St, or Texas, or Miami.

Those guys are really rare. Alot of really good ones this year. Manning may turn out to be one next year. But there is no Trevor, or Burrow, or Mahomes (no one thought he was in college), even a Lamar or DeShawn in college football right now.
