We don't want to resemble UT uniforms, so I kinda down with the purple paints white jerseys. Because split second decisions with their orange jerseys and white pants it could cause problems for Cade.

or so...it has been white pants for all games except championship games (which I assume playoff games count as) and military appreciation.
This hasn't changed since like Dabo's second season bc the weekly uniform carousel was a "distraction" and with Dabo's Bama roots, he doesn't like messing with uniforms anyways.
Having said that, I'd still like one away game a year where the team wears white jersey's with purple pants.

We have the colors white, orange, and purple. We could easily establish a different combination for the 1st game of the year, the 2nd game, the 3rd game, etc.
We could all enjoy the various permutations and still avoid any distraction - the color combo would be known every week.

Let the players decide! Wear anything that disguise the ball! The darker the jersey the harder it’s to see the football! When I coached high school that was a big part of the strategy! Leather dye and bleaching can really make a difference! Watch them dark garnet and blackened jersey and look for the ball! A lot of the older high school coaches believe in using a rubber textured game ball it bounces differently and playing on wet field you can use a dyer to keep the ball dry 😂😂😂😂😂. If my running backs need arm padding or tape you better believe it was the same color as the ball! All fair in War! Football is the closest thing to war😂😂😂😂

How does it work in light of this rule?
NCAA Rule 1-4-5-b and c
b. Color.
1. Players of opposing teams shall wear jerseys of contrasting colors. Players on the same team shall wear jerseys of the same color and design.
2. The visiting team shall wear white jerseys; however, the home team may wear white jerseys if the teams have agreed in writing before the season.
3. If the home team wears colored jerseys, the visiting team may also wear colored jerseys, if and only if the following two conditions have been satisfied
a. The home team has agreed in writing prior to the game; and
b. The conference of the home team certifies that the jersey of the visiting team is of a contrasting color.
So given that no agreement in writing will be made (which could happen) I think white jerseys with orange pants could be very likely. How about really breaking the mold and going purple dominant?
White jersey, purple pants, purple helmets with the orange tiger paw?

There are two options for this game:
All white
White on orange
We don't know if Dabo will consider this a championship game or not. That's the only thing that matters in terms of which color britches we will wear.

I fully expect it won't happen. White over orange I'd expect. Dabo is formulaic about this. The only question is - given this new format - if Dabo will consider this a "bowl" and thus pull out the orange pants, or whether not, and in which case it'll be all white.

I think it will be white on orange. It is a first round championship game and Dabo uses orange pants for championship games. Lose and your season is over so its a championship type game
