To win against Virginia Tech tomorrow?
Asking in advance so I can prepare myself not to get disappointed about the game. Am I doing this right?

You think this condition is unique to CBB coached Teams? Wow...

Have you ever noticed that the Brown L teams, every year, go into long scoring droughts. He never has a play to get our team a good open shot; nor a play that will get one of our shooters to the FT line. (Beadle is often instant offense. Just saying...)
His teams often cannot inbound the ball ...
While he does seem to get adequate players ... they flounder.
Last few games Chauncy Wiggins has been hot, but most games he gets few shots. No plays for CW? (Asking for a friend.)
We hv bn fortunate, so far, that real starters have not missed games. Hope that trend holds.

One option is to simply enjoy the game. Sports should be about the thrill of victory and the agony of defeat. Unfortunately for many of our "fans", they only see agony without any thrills which must be a say way to enjoy a pastime.

I think it is one of those trap games where the pressure is more on us to win and Va Tech doesn't have a lot to lose. I feel like it will be a close game.

I get your point but if you want a serious answer then I think it will be less than double digits, win or lose.

out of it now is to just wait and see if we can win 2 or 3 games in the ACC dance and then win a game or 2 - 1 NOT being the play-in game - in the Dance.
I could see us losing by 15.
I could also see us winning by 15. But I have to squint & turn my head sideways a little to see that.

I understand. We all would like to see a different ending than the one we have become accustomed to. Like you said, we just have to wait and see how it plays out. I do think our lack of depth is costing us against the better teams. We got by with it against inferior competition but it hurts when we face good competition. We also have to find more consistency with our shooting. Hopefully, we can get back on track and turn that around.

I expect to win, but it's not the end of the world if we lose. This is a rational take, but the extremists on this board dont think so.
