the Army of transferring immediately out of our command an individual relieved of a leadership position. That was a preemptive step to eliminate any dissension or lingering controversy within the ranks. It was, also, a step to give the relieved, depending upon the nature of the demotion, an opportunity for redemption elsewhere, for often the problem was related to a particular unit and not necessarily with the individual's talents.
I'm happy DJ has found another home, hope he finds success and consider him a Clemson brother. Now, with DJ departing, the job is clearly Cade's to take the reins firmly, building our offense based upon his experience and talents.

That's how the portal works. Have you not been watching all of the QBs announcing their transfer destination? DJU waited longer than most. He wasn't going to play in the bowl game, so why stick around after graduating?
