For those that think we are a really good baseball team , Tuesday nite will tell us a lot . UGA can flat out hit and our lack of hitting could easily get us blown out . Top 5 team coming to our house , we are about to get a lot of questions answered once and for all. If we hit like we have the last 2 days it won’t be pretty .

We didn’t see Darden this weekend, so I fully expect to see him against Georgia this week. Maybe him and Bell in some kind of 1-2 piggy back role. Two lefties with different abilities. Darden has shown time and time again what he can do in high leverage starts, and assuming the defense is solid behind him I think we see a huge bounce back this week.

It will be a tough game. However, I have a question for you. Can you name one good thing about this team? With a 35-7 record, there's plenty of reason for optimism.

I think it actually tells us nothing at all… we aren’t throwing a weekend starter .. the only thing it may tell us is how we would do against a top team in a game 4 situation but more than likely in the tourney whoever threw the first game depending on pitch count could gonna inning or two… I look at it is an opportunity for guys in the pen to get great experience for later … win or lose this game really means nothing imo

The impact I could see is holding down a national seed. The Tigers still have big matchups with FSU and Coastal, so a UGA win would be helpful.

For a team that struggles with pitching which is all I’ve heard on this board… they just shut out the 10th ranked team in America and the #1 team in RPI.
So are we any good? You said out of your own mouth this would tell us a lot.
