Wish alot of the other young men would share the same attitude. Not just Clemson players.

Just shows how Dabo has built the Clemson program and the types of players he recruits.

The guy did not learn that while he was at Clemson, it was in his character to begin with. It was a reason he was recruited by Clemson to begin with. So when you see our players make these post. Please think twice about your portal complaints.

I’d bet he learned a lot at Clemson, too. I do agree that he probably had the “want to” when he arrived at Clemson, but I fully believe he got more and maybe even better, at Clemson. JMO

Yep. He came in with the right stuff and it was just reinforced while he was at Clemson. We are who we are and our life experiences just solidifies our character.

I think Dabo said in his Gator bowl press conference that Tyler Davis has the most amount of defensive snaps and games played which is pretty cool

We can only survive as a program if we take a bunch of players who go to the highest bidder each year and play when they feel like playing.
We’re falling behind.

We never had a prima-donna opt-out before him. I was shocked and disgusted we had so many this year. So what you’re going pro?! You had free room and board, tutors, NIL dollars, stipends, personal trainers, medical, nutritionists, strength & conditioning, degree, coaching, the greatest years of your life, and you repay it by quitting one game early?! The estimate before NIL was around $400K plus for a four year scholarship athlete value received.
Good on you Tyler Davis!

Clemson recruits character as well as athleticism. This is a prime example. Fine young man who will do well in life.

Jaylon Smith and Matt Corrall both could've sat out but didn't and lost MILLIONS by being injured in bowl games before going to the league. I get what you are saying but you can't expect a player to risk MILLIONS of dollars for our pleasure. An injury in a consultation prize game is not worth losing life changing money. These guys give 3 - 6 years of their life's to us so we should respect what they choose to do not bash them for protecting their investment.

What you are saying is based on "ifs", these guys lost millions. If they hadn't played in the bowl, they would have gone on to the pros and played many years and made millions of dollars. If they hadn't finished what they started, they would not have got hurt in the next game they played( in the pros). If that ACL or whatever brokedown on them was perfect before that bowl game, the game of attrition had nothing to do with that, and only that one game caused catastrophic damage. I say, you're reasoning is flawed. Not 100% mind you, but indeed flawed. Yes 1 game can make the difference. Shitzu, 2 games could make the difference. Why not sit out the whole final season once you have proven yourself NFL ready. Next thing you know, they will be sitting out the spring game because that exposition, the summer workouts, and the next 13 games might hurt their chances in the draft. Gimmie a freaking break. Where does it end? F my life. As if working like I have my entire life is the rock bottom. Get a life

So there’s 2 in the hundreds of guys that play in bowl games every year and the thousands of guys who have played in that same time span. The odds of getting a career ending injury in 1 game are extremely small. Stop justifying guys quitting on their teammates, that’s what it is. The chances of them having a career ending injury in the shower is probably about the same. Should they quit showering too?

Was great that Tyler Davis and XT played, so many players have zero loyalty and commitment to finish. Great to still have some players that are made of the right stuff!
