It's all misdirection while the teenage mutant incels collect all the data the government has. Russia and China have to be involved in all this, even if the only direct contact is through Elon. They are getting everything they want to this point.
The interview for intelligence officers who seek to stay on has two questions:
1) Was Jan 6 an inside job?
and
2) Was the 2020 election stolen?

He does not like Trudeau, and he will likely end up launching some sort of trade war with Canada, if not sooner, then later.
It might serve some short-term purpose. But it will hurt the US in the long-term. Part of the reason we're the most powerful country on Earth is that we were a good friend & partner for many nations. We've been a good model for other Democracies. And no, we haven't been perfect. We screwed up in Vietnam. We screwed up in Iraq. But the overall US approach to world affairs was to be a friend to other Democratic nations, and trade with them, and be in alliances with them.
Under Trump, this will likely go away.
And even if the next president reverses course, it won't matter, as the US is now seen as unreliable on the world stage.
It might provide a short-term win. But it will de-stabilize the world, and in the long-term make us weaker. You don't treat your best friends as if they're enemies, and then not have consequences down the road.
