a medical waiting room with 15 others- I just joined the rest by getting my phone out. Not a word spoken in 15 minutes. People used to have reasons to talk to each other. Now it is all about social media.

a family meeting at a lawyers office to sign some papers after my mom passed away. My older brother and his wife were sitting in the room while we were waiting on the lawyer, and kept texting away. Come to find out, they were texting EACH OTHER. Now this is sitting right next to each other in the same room. You think they were addicted to Blackberrys?

I have experienced people in waiting rooms constantly talking on their freaking phones. One lady carried on an entire business transaction while waiting in a doctor's office waiting room.

to talk - went out of sight around the building but we could hear her talking to what was probably a young child- came back in & asked her husband if we could hear her talking. Should have seen his face as he said, “ Oh, YEAH!!”

If I have mine out during a game there is a tv timeout and I am checking other scores. Now that is unless I have to pee. That takes priority during timeouts.
