Do yall think it's a real possibility that we get either of these two brothers. We could use a veteran linebacker and trotter is a beast. It would make sense. Etienne prob gonna go for money and im not sure we really need him but im sure we are throwing offers at both of them. What do yall think? I'm fairly confident Dabo is going to use the portal.

I would definitely go after Trotter. He was the best LB on the WVU team. Maybe his brother could help us out?

People say Woodazz Jr, forget his first name, is a better athlete than his brother. I think he just needed to hit the weights for a season and add 15-20lbs, but I guess we'll have to see.

All I know is we don't play the best LB we have on the team. That was an absolute fail last week in the 4th quarter.

as most teams run the spread. That leaves Wade Woodaz and Sammy as the starters in 2025. If Trotter wants to come be the top guy behind them, great.
As for Trevor, who knows? Has he even announced? My question would be if he has, why before the SECCG when he's the starting RB?

Ettiene would be a fool to leave UGA, especially with that O-line. Dont think he's going anywhere except the pro's.

I’m assuming that Sewell or Sadler will be good enough to largely make up for M.Tate’s departure after this season as the disclaimer for the following reduction:
2025 should have Clemson’s best OL of the New Millenium. Experienced, excellent proven performances by Sr lineman at LT, RG, and RT. Returning starter at Center, e.g., a Jr. who has played outstanding FB all year (and he should be better next year). Two very good backups competing for LG position in Sadler (who had essentially two RS years, but payed very well during his one full season of work in 2023) and Sewell (good player who improved tremendously between 2023 and 2024 … ongoing improvement likely?). And who knows … Dietrich Pennington has had 3 seasons cut short by injury; Pennington was mentioned as candidate OL starter as true FR before his first ACL tear. Will Pennington lose enough weight and require enough agility to compete for a starting job next year?
Summary: Clemson is loaded at OL for 2025. T.Etienne would get great blocking and the lion’s share of Carrie’s if he comes to Clemson next year.
That’s more than he’ll be getting at UGA if he stays in Athens.

We don’t need Trevor, we have a stable of running backs. Jay Haynes, Eziomume, and Gideon are all great backs. I fully believe Eziomume will take over the starting role next year, he is a beast.

Trotter seems like the kind of guy we’d take a swing at. But I also thought we’d make a play for Trevor Etienne last year too and that never happened. Josiah would be a nice piece and a good “first TRUE portal signee.” I’m sure whenever it happens it’ll be a name we have all heard before.
