Trevor's first spring game

Do yall remember when Trevor got in the spring game and threw a bomb to Tee Higgins for a TD?
I remember thinking right then that Kelly B was going to lose his starting job and rightfully so.
I got those same vibes watching Trent Pearman.
Decision making was on point and the ball came out quick. He got bailed out by the WR on a couple throws one was way behind I think Randall on a slant and he still made the grab.
Anyways I just think good decision making has been absent from our offense the last few seasons. Not just from QB play. As a whole. Including not running with Shipley more two years ago against the coots.

But Dabo was in "protect Kelly Bryant as QB1 mode".
TL16 threw a 2nd bomb just as long for a TD. I believe Dabo, not the refs, called the play back for some vague reason.
But it was clear at the Spring Game that TL16 was special, better than KB2, and that Dabo had a challenge & opportunity ahead of him. Dabo, with CW42's help & leadership, handled it very well. The rest is Clemson history!

ball. It was every pass Trevor threw. You could just tell the obvious difference. There are not many people that throw the ball like that. It's way more obvious in person that it is on television.

Or just one of the better spring game performances we witnessed.
I mean, Stetson Bennet actually had a minimal spring game performance that would've never indicated he was going to take the starting job the year he led UGA to their first title this century.
I remember when Tribble Reese had a great spring game as he was battling Cullen Harper for the backup spot in 06. Dude ended up transferring to Charleston Southern and didn't do much.
I take it with a grain of salt. Too bad we couldn't have a warm up game or two before UGA to see how Pearman would do with live bullets and hopefully it'd be more than just handing the ball off.

I get what you're saying about pearman having better decision making then our last 2 qbs but there's not a single reason we should be comparing pearman to tlaw. Trevor has always been talked about being the best qb in the business since he started hs until draft night.

Trent will not be replacing anyone based on what you saw in a spring. Comparing the Trevor vs KB and Cade vs Trent is not the same. You’re stretching this guy.
