Declares for the draft. Why? What have you done? How could you possibly believe that you are ready? That an NFL team is going to take a chance on you? You've shown your lack of determination. Smh

I totally agree. He was recruited heavily by the Tigers. Who knows, he may have turned out great in Tiger town. But, one things for sure....he ain't nothing like his brother.

We never get the little brother. Honestly, if I had a nickle for every time we went after the younger brother of an all time great Clemson running back, only to have them go to an SEC school instead, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird it happened twice.

Terrell brothers. Woodaz brothers. Davis twins. Turner brothers. List goes on especially if we go back to previous coaches.

He's talking about Mike Davis. James' little bro. Played for the Coots.

Not a great plan. This is already a loaded RB group going into the draft

What players do/have done in college has ZERO impact on what kind of pro they will be.

Dump on him if you want but RB is the shortest average career in NFL. I can’t imagine him playing into a much better draft position by staying at UGA. Better off getting his first contract while he has as much tread on the tires as possible. That puts him at 23-24 (peak RB production years) during his 1 or second contract negotiation depending on is rookie contract.
Not defending his previous actions, character or talent, but the decision to leave makes sense to me.

It's rare for RBs to be first-round picks anyways

He's a talented guy who was good when he was on the field. He also can return kicks. I'm sure he'll go in the middle rounds.
College production isn't always the most important indicator for RBs, and some may see his relatively few carries in college as a positive as it means he's taken less punishment. As long as he tests well, he should get a fair chance.

His NIL value was probably not high enough to keep him around.

He had done all he was going to do in the college ranks. With the short shelf life of NFL running backs, might as well get started.
He's nowhere near the talent his brother was at this point in their careers.

To me he seems like a 6th, 7th, or a FA. Travis should have been a 3rd rounder and he is light years better.

Dude has the tools to be solid. Not sure where he will be drafted though, or if another year would have helped him a whole lot. Georgia has another good RB that will definitely get his fair share of carries this year. That may or may not have played a part in his decision.

Why not? If you think you can make a team do it...

There is a reason it's called the Not For Long league. If I were him I would enter the portal and try and get more money through an NIL deal. Get all the money from college that you can and then see if I could make the NFL. IMO, there are a lot of guys playing on a Division one team that are making waaaaaay more money then they ever will in the NFL. Less then 1% of all High School football players ever make it on an NFL roster.

Dawgturds have had a bunch of backs the last few years that didn't have eye-popping stats but are doing well in the NFL...see Cook.

Would not be surprised if Kirby told him that the freshman, Frazier was going to be their starting RB moving forward & he decided to enter draft.

Why not test the NIL market in the portal? Late round draft money could be less than a team offers in the portal.
